Shipping companies might well have taken umbrage at the size of their recent fuel bills, but not bunker companies.
They were doing fine, as a recent spate of company results shows.
World Fuel Services, the biggest of the independent bunker companies, saw third quarter profits rise by 42%, while Aegean Marine's fourth quarter result saw profitability shoot up...
