Livestock carriers give fatigue ruling thumbs up

The Livestock and Bulk Carriers Association (LBCA) said an amendment to the New South Wales livestock carriers law was a step in the right direction.

Roads minister Michael Daley this month announced that heavy vehicle drivers in NSW were allowed to exceed their daily work-time limit by up to two hours.

The new exemption is due to commence in May.
