Oakajee port and rail project rolls forward

Much excitement was generated by Western Australia's signing a state development agreement with Mitsubishi and Murchison Metals-backed Oakajee Port and Rail (OPR) project last week.

But the $4m project still has hurdles to surmount.

And not all of them are under the state's or the company's control.

WA premier Colin Barnett said that OPR would spend $160m on further investigative studies, but that the project...
