The outstanding support of the Sydney maritime community for the annual Shipping Industry Golf Challenge was officially recognised at a ceremony at Government House in Sydney last week.
The golf day began to raise funds exclusively for the Westmead Children's Hospital 12 years ago and the $35,000 raised at the 2008 golf day saw the total amount donated to the hospital exceed $300,000.
