The owners of crane barge Shovelmaster have presented the Canadian Coast Guard with another report recommending that the barge be left on the ocean floor off Nova Scotia.

The dredge barge was carrying 70,000 litres of diesel when it sank about 70 km off Yarmouth last November.

A New Brunswick firm, has given the coast guard a report suggesting the barge could safely stay on the sea...
