Northern Stevedoring buys out its supplier

Northern Stevedoring Services has acquired the equipment hire group, S.Colborne, for an undisclosed sum.

Townsville-based Northern Stevedoring

Townsville-based Northern Stevedoring said the move allowed it to control all of the equipment supplied to its operations at its home port, as well as Cairns, Gladstone and Mackay.

The stevedore had been one of S.Colborne's biggest customers.
