The first component of Qantas Freight's new iCargo IT system has been rolled out, the airline said today.
The new system would replace existing IT systems, executive manager Stephen Cleary said.
"We have achieved a critical milestone for this important project, with the successful cut-over of the first phase in our iCargo implementation with our unit load device (ULD) control and schedule managment staff now having access to the application," Mr Cleary said.
The new system will be integrated across the Qantas Freight network over several phases, with the last to be terminal operations late next year.
