Two engines and five carriages of the train that was carrying sodium dithionite came off the tracks in the incident that was being investigated by the State workplace standards and the rail regulatory arms.

The incident occurred in the Rhyndaston area, which has been earmarked for $24m in upgrades, with construction expected to start in 2010 and be finished by 2012.
