Bega group wins $1.6m Eden port contract
Bega-based Specialised Earthworks has won the tender to construct a new cargo storage area at the port of Eden in southern New South Wales.

Three companies tendered for the $1.6m project, which will accommodate the annual export of about 300,000 tonnes of softwood logs, the port's biggest trade.
NSW Maritime said the work would take about 12 weeks and could begin as soon as next week.
The project includes surface treatment of a four hectare area, a sediment pond and irrigation works.
