ATA calls for public holiday uniformity
The Australian Trucking Association (ATA) has taken a swipe at Australia's haphazard public holiday structure.
In calling for more uniformity of public holidays, ATA chairman Trevor Martyn said the differing public holiday dates in each state and territory were a "totally unnecessary burden on Australian businesses, including the trucking industry".
