Setback for Southern Sydney Freight Line

Construction of the Southern Sydney Freight Line has hit a number of design hurdles that will probably delay completion of the network by six months, according to the Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC).

ARTC said that work on the freight line would continue, albeit at a slower pace, because it needed to re-evaluate aspects of project to determine the most cost-effective way forward.
