Pirates capture mystery weapons ship
Somali pirates may now have their hands on short- and medium-range missiles, after the capture of a mystery vessel laden with weapons yesterday morning, according to private security sources in the Gulf of Aden.
Nick Davis of the UK-based Merchant Maritime Warfare Centre identified the vessel as Al Mizan, a name which does not appear on either the Lloyd’s Marine Intelligence Unit or Equasis databases.
