Australia-Europe box trade decline slows

Third quarter container trade with Europe appears to have arrested the volume plunge that was evident earlier this year, according to the latest European Liner Affairs Association (ELAA) figures.

While the trade is not out of the woods, the southbound fall of 27% in the second quarter of the calendar year compared with the same quarter a year earlier, has been followed by one of only 8%,...
