RCL drops further into the red

Regional Container Lines (RCL), the Thailand-based intra-Asia specialist, plunged deeper into the red in the third quarter, posting a net loss of Baht589m (US$17.7m) compared with a Baht440.5m net loss in the same quarter last year.

The third-quarter result led the company to post a cumulative net loss of almost Baht1.6bn for the first nine months of this year against a Baht772.4m net profit between January-September 2008.
