Hunter Valley rail corridor upgrade underway
Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC) kicked off its $20m revamp of the Hunter Valley rail corridor yesterday as part of a push to improve capacity on the coal lines.
The rail and infrastructure organisation said it planned to carry out about 70 maintenance and upgrading projects along the coal chain over the course of three days.
