Aircargo exports, imports climb in September

A record amount of meat exported through Melbourne helped airfreight exports in September jump 10% from the same period last year, according to figures released by Maritrade.

Australia exported about 22,000 tonnes of cargo by air in September with perishables such as fruit, vegetables and seafood dominating the sector, Maritrade said.
