Arrested Annapurna sold to pay Eastwind debt

The reefership arrested by a Japanese bank in Auckland three months ago has been sold to a European company, according to the New Zealand broker managing the sale.

A monetary deposit for Annapurna had been received from the unnamed owner and settlement was expected to take place in two weeks time, Workboats International broker Geoff Fraser said.
