World's biggest tanker sold to Asian interests
Norwegian shipowner Fred. Olsen Production has sold the former Jahre Viking, now known as Knock Nevis, the largest tanker ever built, to an Asian company.
Sold: The 564,650 dwt Knock Nevis to be moved by the end of the year
The Oslo-listed company made US$6m from the transaction, which it will book in the fourth quarter of this year.
