New freight facility to help Tasmanian food industry

A new $6.5m freezer freight facility in Tasmania was officially opened by premier David Bartlett this week.

The development, owned by door-to-door freight forwarder Fresh Freight Tasmania, can store 2000 freezer, chiller and dry pallets.

The latest investment was part of a push to provide food businesses in Tasmania with facilities required for economic and industry growth.
