MUA fears tax reforms might bypass shipping
Maritime Union of Australia national secretary Paddy Crumlin raised concerns today that the Federal Government's tax review would fail to address the local shipping industry's unique needs.
Mr Crumlin reiterated the union's support for a tonnage tax and a royalties withholding tax for Australian shipowners.
