NOT enough people know about the job done by marine pilots and why they remain so important a link in the safety chain that prevents disaster when huge mobile objects need to be handled in restricted waters.
So full marks to the Tees Bay Pilots in the UK who gave free reign to an up-and-coming photographer, to record their work for the wider public.
Navigators of Teisa (this being the ancient name for this Yorkshire river)...
