NORTH Queensland Ports Corporation has been very busy with a number of projects since taking charge of sea port facilities at Hay Point, Mackay, Abbot Point, Weipa and Maryborough four months ago.

The ports corporation last month closed off expressions of interest for major development at Dudgeon Point and was now drafting the land use plan for Hay Point, expanding the Abbot Point Coal Terminal and conducting environmental investigations for the proposed...
