Coal terminal powers on regardless

PORT Kembla Coal Terminal emerged from the global financial crisis relatively unscathed with the company enjoying its fifth consecutive year of growth.
The terminal handled 13.2m tonnes of coal in the 2008/09 year, up from the total 12.6m tonnes in the previous year and 11.6m tonnes in 2006/07.
General manager Peter Green expects more of the same next year.
