GOLF DAY IN SA
ADELAIDE’S shipping industry has been playing golf for so long that special conditions have been placed on South Australia’s most sought-after trophy.
The state’s shipping industry gathered in October for its 60th annual golf day and, fittingly, it was the exporters who claimed the perpetual trophy, the Allan Marshall Memorial Cup, having claimed it in the inaugural event in 1949.
