NOL posts heavy third-quarter loss

NEPTUNE Orient Lines expects to remain deep in the red well into next year, with depressed conditions in the container trades showing no sign of easing.

The Singapore line lost US$139m in the third quarter, compared with a profit of US$35m in the same period of 2008. That was the last time the company made money, with the fourth quarter of last year marking the start...
