A SURGE in newbuilding deliveries will keep charter rates and utilisation levels for offshore support vessels (PSVs) depressed for the next two years, DVB Group said.

With 270 offshore support vessels already delivered this year and up to 747 on order, DVB Group’s latest research paints a grim picture of oversupply and hard years to come for vessel owners.
