TWU stalwart Noonan steps down

Transport Workers Union Victoria and Tasmania branch secretary Bill Noonan will vacate on November 18 the post he has held for 15 years.

Mr Noonan, who has spent 45 years in the union movement, will retain a part-time position.

He will be replaced by assistant secretary Wayne Mader, with senior organiser John Berger taking Mr Mader's vacated position.
