Flinders Island freight service at a standstill
Southern Shipping's freight and livestock ferry, the Matthew Flinders III, remained tied up at Lady Barron port on Flinders Island today over a wages dispute.
An attempt to get the company's other ship, the Southern Condor II, to take freight to Flinders Island last night had failed, port manager Wayne Beeton confirmed.
