Second Montara leak plugging attempt fails

Montara oil field operator PTTEP Australasia failed yesterday in its second pass attempt to plug its leaking oil well in the Timor Sea.

"We will now re-run the vector magnetics tools tonight to see how close we are to the target," PTTEP Australasia director and chief financial officer Jos Martins said.
