Concerns are growing over the number of casualties in the Malacca Strait and Singapore Strait as an international trust has been set up to enhance safety in the key waterway.

A meeting of technical experts from Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia, ahead of a two-day co-operative forum, has proposed that the problem of casualties in the straits should be highlighted.
