The Cairns business sector is to explore the viability of a dedicated shipping service to Papua New Guinea as it seeks to take advantage of the country's resources and construction developments.
The Cairns Chamber of Commerce will lead a 20-strong delegation to Port Moresby on November 10 and 11.
Surface transport will be high on the list of issues to be discussed.
