K+N sees first signs of trade recovery
European logistics group Kuehne+Nagel, which saw gross profit fall 7.3% to SFr4.4bn (US$4.3bn) in the first nine months of 2009, has flagged an improvement in seafreight volumes.
Although the Swiss company said that containerised seafreight during the first half of the year had been characterised by significant volume declines, it added that the third quarter had seen "the first signs of recovery".
