AMSA's $5m Montara bill to increase

The Montara oil leak clean-up has cost the Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) $5.3m and rising, a Senate Estimates Committee heard yesterday.

  

The costs were correct to October 14 and, of that progressive total, AMSA had billed and received $3.8m, it told Greens senator Rachel Siewert.
