Newcastle pilots threaten strike over pay claim
Pilots at the port of Newcastle have threatened strike action against the world's largest coal port over a pay dispute that began last year.

The pilot's union, Australian Maritime Officers Union (AMOU) submitted a request to Fair Work Australia last week for permission to hold ballot on strike action, AMOU director Michael Fleming said.
