CBH completes first round of grain shipping allocation

CBH Group has auctioned off 70% of the core shipping space available for the period of January to June 2010, the Western Australian grain marketer has announced.

Bidders had competed for the 4.895m tonnes of shipping capacity offered by CBH across the port terminals at Esperance, Albany, Kwinana and Geraldton, CBH said.

The auction took 42 rounds over three days.
