Mystery ship Arctic Sea goes to Malta for repairs
Arctic Sea, the Russian-owned general cargoship which attracted global headlines after apparently being hijacked in European waters in July, is to be delivered back to unspecified owners later this week, according to a statement from flag state Malta.
The 1991-built, 4706 dwt ship was reported off Las Palmas in the Canary Islands in September, following a major search operation by the Russian navy which ultimately led to her recovery.
