Sydney Ports to trial single boarding base for pilots

Sydney Ports Corporation will trial a single pilot boarding platform off Port Botany for the next six months.
The decision was reached after a navigation review found that such a platform could deliver a safe and efficient pilotage service to ships calling at both Port Botany and Sydney Harbour, Sydney Ports chief executive Grant Gilfillan said.
