Weeks before Karumba impact will be known
Minerals and Metals Group (MMG) is uncertain how long it will take to repair its pipeline connecting its Century zinc and lead mine with the port of Karumba.
Mill operations were suspended on October 5, when about 300 tonnes of zinc slurry spilled from a 1km section of the 300 km pipeline.
MMG has been trying to bypass the section which leaked.
