Carnival profits outlook cruising

A BETTER-than-expected return in its third-quarter fiscal results has prompted Carnival to sweeten its annual profit projection.
Micky Arison’s cruise group is now projecting full-year earnings per share of US$2.16-US$2.20, up from its last guidance of US$2-US$2.10.
The optimism was underpinned by a third-quarter net profit of US$1bn, which was still a 20% slippage of US$1.3bn...
