India on alert for Black Rose bunker spill

INDIA is readying itself for a bunker spill following the sinking of a Mongolia-flagged bulk carrier off its coast earlier this month.
Paradip Port Trust in Orissa state has confirmed that it is taking relevant precautionary measures after the loss of 1977-built, 37,657 dwt Black Rose on September 9.
The site of the casualty is very near the Gahirmatha marine sanctuary,...
