THE REBOUND in Australia’s air cargo industry in July is a signal that the nation is recovering from the economic downturn that is still crippling other parts of the world.
Statistics released by Maritrade last week showed that airfreight import volumes jumped in July and were back to the level of more than 30,000 tonnes, similar to the figure for December last year.
