A LEADING Norwegian shipowner and familiar figure in Australia and New Zealand shipping circles, Atle Jebsen, has died in a car accident in Norway.
Mr Jebsen, 73, was returning from a business trip when his car collided head on with a container truck near Bergen on the evening of October 13 local time.
A staff member also died and another was seriously injured.
