Watchdog sets terms for AAT
THE AUSTRALIAN Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) is proposing to grant Australian Amalgamated Terminals (AAT) conditional permission to operate motor vehicle and general cargo handling facilities at five ports.
But AAT, which is jointly-owned by Patrick and DP World, would be required to give other stevedores the opportunity to access its terminals, the ACCC said.
The competition watchdog also required that AAT provide a dispute resolution process to end-users...
