Kiwi exporters lament trans-Tasman barriers
GREATER urgency needs to be placed on removing trade barriers between New Zealand and Australia, according to local exporters included in a recent trans-Tasman survey by global express and logistics company DHL.
About two-thirds of those exporters believe there are “significant barriers” to what is NZ’s key market destination – attracting 22% of all NZ exports in the year ended June 2008.
