Montara plug attempts continue in vain

PTTEP Australasia was on its fourth re-attempt to plug the leaking Montara well on Tuesday.
The well operator said it had experienced equipment failure at the weekend when the whipstock drilling assembly, used to aim the drill bit, failed.
At last count, the Australian Maritime Safety Authority had recovered 277,000 litres, or almost 1,750 barrels,...
