AIRfreight will outpace maritime containers in cargo volume growth as Asia leads the slow recovery out of recession.
HSBC Global Research, which has upgraded its global economic growth forecasts, said year-to-date cargo volumes in Asia had been “miserable” and that airlines outperformed the shipping sector by 30% in the past six months.
