FALLING demand for chocolate has hit cocoa bean exports, meaning less of the minor bulk commodity was being shipped.
African and Asian cocoa bean export countries are experiencing less demand for the commodity for grinding as western countries run down stocks, Macquarie Bank said in its latest report.
