Graincorp confident about revised terminal plan
Graincorp is confident that its revised port terminal plan submitted to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) yesterday will satisfy the competition watchdog's requirements.
The ACCC had previously objected to proposals made in April by Graincorp and rivals CBH and ABB on the basis that they were not sufficiently transparent and fair to wheat exporters.
The grain handlers have until October 1 to submit their revised plans or face losing their ability to export wheat in bulk.
Graincorp said it was confident it would retain bulk wheat export accreditation from Wheat Exports Australia beyond September 30.
