THE POTENTIALLY serious implications for the vital dry bulk trade between Australia and China arising from the grounding of the Chinese bulk carrier Shen Neng 1 on the Great Barrier Reef have been reflected in an unusually candid and apologetic response from the Chinese Government and the ship’s owner.
