SOMNOLENCE descended on the capesize market last week with very little activity as all the major iron ore chartering players stayed away.
There were signs that they would continue to hold back from the spot market this week.
“Last week was very slow. Wednesday became Friday and Friday became Sunday,” a Singapore-based broker said.
